The 20-inch unloaded seat height compressed to about 18.4 inches under Marcus at 230 pounds, enough to soften the sit without making his hips feel buried. From upright, the outside seat took 13.8 seconds to reach full recline and 11.9 seconds to return; the movement stayed even, and the separate headrest control made it easy to keep his gaze level during gaming. The 87-inch Score adds zero-gravity positioning, power lumbar, a one-touch home button, removable backs, and Flexsteel’s DualFlex spring system. It comes in leather as B3805-62L and fabric as 2805-62L. This is the stronger feature upgrade, but it usually carries a much higher price and needs 9 inches of wall clearance rather than 3.

Catnapper Ferrington 761891

The 90-inch Ferrington was the closest price peer in the listings we checked. It adds power lumbar and lay-flat recline, but its extra-wide two-seat layout and padded polyester upholstery create a softer, more casual experience. Pick it over the Ashley when deep two-person lounging matters more than leather, a tailored profile, or a stationary center seat.
