Each mattress spent 14 days in the same standard crib. We followed the same mattress-testing process for crib fit, sheet changes, zipper access, cleanup, weighted compression, rebound, surface-temperature change, disturbance, and corner stability. For repeatable comparisons, we used the same 20-pound load at the center and 2 inches from the edge, logged surface temperature after 30 minutes, and timed recovery after removing the load. Spill checks used 100 mL of water left on the lined side for 10 minutes. The results were scored on the same 5-point scale for support, cooling, pressure relief, motion isolation, responsiveness, edge support, and durability.
