Dr. Raj Dasgupta brings his deep expertise and compassionate approach to our medical advisory board as Dweva Mattress’s Chief Medical Advisor. He is an ABIM quadruple board-certified physician, specializing in internal medicine, pulmonology, critical care, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Raj is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (FAASM). In addition to his clinical and research work, he currently practices at the University of Southern California (USC), where he serves as an associate professor of clinical medicine, associate program director of the sleep medicine fellowship, and assistant program director of the internal medicine residency program. His dedication to teaching has earned him the Excellence in Teaching Award at USC for six consecutive years.
He completed his internal medicine residency at Michigan State University, followed by fellowships in pulmonary and critical care at Columbia University’s Saint Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital and in sleep medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. During his training, Dr. Raj received multiple honors, including Resident of the Year, Fellow of the Year, and the Director’s Award for Research.
Dr. Raj has a strong passion for mentoring and educating future physicians. He is the author of two book series—Morning Report: Beyond the Pearls and Case Reports: Beyond the Pearls—both designed to help medical students prepare for board exams and sharpen their clinical reasoning skills.
